I have been taking this pharmaceutical since 1991 for consequences of crohn's surgery. A part was taken initating unwarranted and unchanging diarreah. None of the usual diarreah meds assisted without initating critical abdominal pain. For me, this pharmaceutical tends to condense the stool and holds me from every day chronic diarreah.

I had my gall bladder out in 2003 to help with critical stool/stomach problems. (I believe the medical practitioners liked my money)Anyways after my surgery my status still lived, calling it IBS. So my medical practitioner put me on colestid, it has been a life saver. If I overlook a day I can design on seated in the bathing room all day. My large-scale worry no is that a new medical practitioner likes me to halt taking it while I'm with child because it can soak up vitamins required while with child, we'll glimpse how long that lasts. Over all this med is cheap and large conpared to the alternate.

In 2003 I had a spinal fusion which was perfect. Then came the blemish tissue which was so critical it shut my little and large intestines which were opened surgery #2. The blemish tissue returned while still in the hosptial and surgery #3 needed a part of my little and large intestines to be removed. Finally 2 months after the surgery and every thing I ate running directly thru me, my gastro. Specialist said Colestid should do the knack and it has. It hardens anything I consume, take 2 tablets at bedtime and life is good. Normal like clockwork... I have disregarded on a twosome of events to take it before bedtime and the next day wasn't pleasant. Not only does Colestid command my intestines my colesterol grade is terrfic. Thank you for this magnificent medication when not anything additional would work.

I have been taking this med for 8 years now. I had my gullbladder taken in 1996 and had awful stomach problems. I couldn't consume any thing without being beside a bathroom. I went to a expert that recomended Colestid. From the first day I begun the med, I not ever had another problem. This tablet has been a life hoarder for me. Always recall to take the pill. If you overlook one dose, you can design to spend the day in the bathroom.

Reason for using: help command my diarrhea.Side Effects: noneever since I had my gallbladder out I have had critical diarrhea after eating. this has assisted me command this issue
