I took Tedral for asthma from grade school into college when a doctor advised me to stop taking it because it would damage my liver.
In my thirties I developed fatty liver. Was it the Tedral?

I grew up in SoCalif and was given daily, oral Tedral from early grade school through High School for asthma, also an inhaler. At age 20yrs. I was diagnosed with DJD and put in traction with my first pregnancy. My second pregnancy was so traumatic on my back that it was decided I have a hysterectomy before age 25!(A decision that I have always regretted, but was advised otherwise). Now I am 52 years old living in North Idaho, I do not have asthma now. I have chronic and severe back pain, low and thoracic discs continued to bulge and rupture over the last 33 years...YES I do think that Tedral given to me as a child has had a huge effect on my condition. Steroids help with breathing difficulties, but should NEVER be given to a child for long periods of time.Cathy Jo

Even though some shrewd idiot ostracised the over the contradict sales and production. it is still accessible by some compounding pharmacists. I have been taking this surgery since it was first introduced. It was very productive in commanding my asthma attacks. Too awful the one-by-one in the FDA wasn't an asthmatic.

Tedral was first prescribed in 1950 for my asthma which evolved after my first anaphylactic episode. (An Adrenalin injection kept me from that.) I was four years old. I took Tedral until I went into high school when a steroid inhaler was prescribed. Tedral was terrible. It's poorest side effect was a character change. I became irritable and short tempered. I am shocked Tedral is still in use. I do not suggest it.
