my 17 year old child was identified w/Tourette's at 3 years old and this medication has been a life hoarder for him!

I was on Orap for 10 years to command my tics. I was not ever identified with TS, but was put on the medication at an early age anyways. I profited many heaviness over the years, I was habitually exhausted, I was habitually edgy, and occasionally I sensed it made my tics worse. When I was 20 years of age, I determined that I didn't like the way I sensed and halted taking the pharmaceutical freezing turkey (not suggested by a doctor). I lost 60 lbs inside five months, I had more power, I was not edgy, and I sensed free.

My female child who is 7 years old and weighs 48 pounds was put on ORAP because we were notified that she had Tic Syndrome. She did fine the first 3 days with 1mlgm. The medical practitioner notified us that she need 1 tablet in the forenoon and 1 in the evening. We begun the second tablet on a Sat. Monday night we had to call an hospital vehicle because she was not responsive. To make a long article short, we were notified by some medical practitioners that she was way over medicated. We were furthermore notified that children under the age of 12 shouldn't be on this surgery, because it is to powerful!!!! To all you parents delight study other pharmaceuticals for young kids under 12. This nearly slain my only daughter. I did all types of study and clarified to the medical practitioner what I discovered, and he still notified me that she would be fine. Not True!
