Kristalose has helped a bit to increase b.m.\'s from 2X a week to 3 or so. However, they still are not regular or complete. It\'s very difficult to tolerate due to extreme gas (embarrassing), abdominal cramps & pain, extreme bloating which keeps me up all night. I may have to d/c the medication if the s/e\'s are not transient after 1 full week. Is there no help for this condition? Amatiza was not tolerable either.

This surgery has been utilised to heal need of bowel action all together. The diagnosis is "nonconclusive" no stool. When I take the largest suggested dosage to the smallest allowance, my stool is then immediatly liquid. Not a every day remedy, particularly is I'd like to consume or do anything. Time taken about 3 weeks. Have been instricted to use it as it works in moderation of doseage. I haven't strike a joyous intermediate at all, yet.

Lactulose is a very good laxative. If taken in a dosage of 1 or 2 tablespoons with morning meal, the outcomes are generally inside 4 hours. Lactulose is the only wholesome laxative. This pharmaceutical works effectivly but it presents me unchanging gas and bloating. I am furthermore on the dust pattern and have to blend it with certain thing everytime a take it. I've gone from 2 bowel movements a week to 3 a day, but the gas is horrific.
