Dulcolax has SEVERE side effects. I use this product once every now and then when I haven\'t eaten enough carbs and become constipated. Several years ago after taking two dulcolax pills I had severe abdominal cramping and vomiting and diarrhea that lasted for about two hours. A few years went by and I must have forgotten that awful experience and started to use the product again intermittently. Over the next couple of years I would occasionally get mild to moderate abdominal cramping and distention after taking 2 dulcolax tablets, and the symptoms continued for a few hours until I moved my bowels. Last nite I had a very severe reaction after taking two dulcolax tablets: extreme abdominal cramping and bloating, extreme sweating (sweat was pouring off of me), weak, could not get out of bed, extreme pain, could not get to the bathroom and had to have help getting there, almost passed out when stood up to go to the bathroom, started passing out when back in bed and an ambulance was called. I barely remember the paramedics getting me onto the stretcher and the ride to the ER. About an hour later, the pain went away and all symptoms subsided. This was diagnosed as a vagal reaction that was brought on by the dulcolax. Thank goodness I was not home alone when this happened or I would have passed out alone. Don\'t use this product because clearly you never know when the drug will impose its disastrous effect.

I suffered from an annoying constipation, took dulolax, and what do you know - it really helped :) I found myself going to the bathroom 3 or 4 times which was a real treat... :) p.s. no side effects for me

I had horrible Bowel Movements \"issues\", my doctor prescribed me this drug and it really helped me, I did suffer some side effects (cramps and some abdominal pain) but it wasn\'t that bad, I wonder how many of the stories below are true...

well, I can relate to so many people here, I took this drug and experienced terrible side effects, It started with an annoying pain in my stomach and continued to diarrhea for the rest of the day. on a side note, it did help with my constipation but... it just ain\'t worth it!

well... I need a laxative, I took dulcolax and suprise suprise, it really helped me, I went to the bathroom and the rest is a history. I\'m sorry to hear that many people had awful side effect from this drug, I\'m one of the lucky guys I guess.

I acquiesce with every person else. This medication is extreme. Ive been ill all day and I took the tablets at about 7pm. Was still ill at 11am the next day. couldnt depart dwelling as urgency to proceed the bathing room was so powerful in addition to i was up all night. it wakes you up out of your doze certain thing awful. i chucked remainder of them out because just looking at the carton makes me desire to hurl.
